Super Chess started as a family idea after we felt traditional chess needed a little kick and a fresh twist. That idea was brought to life by 13-year-old entrepreneur Sal Obeidallah, who turned it into a product designed for everyone to enjoy.
Today, Super Chess is the result of that shared obsession: a fresh way to play that feels familiar to purists yet thrillingly different for everyone who’s ever wished chess could move just a little faster, hit a little harder, and tell a new story with every game.
THE SPARK
We noticed something: our non‑chess friends loved the idea of chess, but rarely sat down to play. The game felt slow, rigid, and unforgiving to anyone who didn’t already speak its language.
